- Re-usable dishware provided for guest use
- Locally produced food sourced
- Recycling bin provided for glass, plastic, metal and paper (located in guest lounge)
- Use of bath/shower dispensers as this drastically cuts down on the use of plastic bath products
- Low VOC paint products
- Ceiling fans in guest rooms
- Operable windows in guest rooms
- Linen re-use program
- High efficiency furnace
- Energy Efficient water heater
- Lighting timers and sensors used on some of the interior public lights shutting them off when they are not needed
- Low-e film on west and south facing windows
- A compost bin is located in the kitchen
- Clothesline for hang-drying our table linens whenever possible

- Certain items after a period of use are donated to local charitable organizations such as Goodwill in St. Catharines, ON instead of these items being thrown out
